EXAM QUESTION:

Discuss the relevance of the concept of moral panic based on the digital media that you have studied. Use examples and theoretical ideas to support your answer.
  • what theories show the relevance to this statement 
Against negative- 13 reasons why can be linked to moral panic and can cause an increase in panic because some people can be sensitive to the subject and it might cause them anxiety and motivate their suicidle thoughts 

Against positive- A positive is Escapism which is where you can forget every thing around you and get sucked into in my example a tv show called Arrow
- It also allows you to make new friends as some people can have the same interests as you
- Another is that it builds personal identity which for example in a TV show if you see a character and you see them do good it might actually inspire you to do the same and become a better overall version of your self
