A company that is not owned by a conglomerate, often work with larger and more independent companies an example of this is when Patrick productions who made the sitcom Deri Girls worked as part of a joint venture with channel 4. When companies work as part of a joint it is because it is mutually beneficial for both companies

Public service company is funded by public money-e.g. the tv license fee-BBC (and C4 have some PSB funding)

The commercial TV channel I have chose to study is Comedy Central
The type of content Comedy Central host are mainly comedies to make people laugh, shows such as South-Park, Jimmy Kimmel, Futurama, and The Cleveland show
The channel mainly focuses on entertaining the viewers and talk shows like Jimmy Kimmel update people about celebrities
The audience group age range is mainly for young people who don't mind explicit language and offensive scenes in shows such as south-Park
